The satin is really smooth against my skin and the lace overlay doesn't itch at all, which I was worried about. I wear it for naps on weekends and it blocks the light just enough without feeling heavy. The little ruffle edge makes it feel way nicer than a plain sleep mask.
The ruffled lace edge is what sold me and it looks even prettier in person than in the photos. I wore it for a nap and the satin didn't press into my face at all.
